  • Courtesy Team Member (Mar. 2005 – Present)
    • Serve as part of the security & guest services team at a 290+ unit beachfront condominium resort.
    • Provide excellent custom service to our owners, guests, vendors, contractors, rental agencies, and on-site management.
    • Perform routine patrols of our 25+ acre property on foot and/or golfcart making the Courtesy Team presence known while documenting any safety issues, lights out, irrigation leaks, or rules & regulation violations.
    • Ensure the pool area, tennis center and office building are secure after hours and monitor cameras for any suspicious behavior or issues.
    • Provide assistance to owners and guests checking in after hours when needed.
    • Act as the first responder to any incidents on property – this can include maintenance issues, medical emergencies, alarms, etc.
    • Report issues to the proper management and/or agency when necessary.
  • Courtesy Team Assistant Manager (Sep. 2007 – Present)
    • This role is the second in command of the Courtesy Team department.
    • Assists with training new employees.
    • Rewrote most of the forms for the Courtesy Team to give it a more uniform, professional look on paper.
    • Wrote the 2009 employee handbook for the Courtesy Team department and keeps it up to date with Assistant General Manager/Courtesy Team Manager.
    • Oversees the day to day dealings of the department and reports any issues to the Assistant General Manager/Courtesy Team Manager.
    • Works with upper management to streamline Courtesy Team protocols to keep things simple for all involved.
    • Covers the on-call duty when needed.
  • IT Administrator (Apr. 2009 – Present)
    • Spearheaded the development of the business center at the Island Club rotunda building for owners and guests to use.
    • Maintains most of the hardware and software for the RI/RII and Property Management offices and Courtesy Team.
    • Acts as a liaison between upper management and contractors/vendors when the subject matter is IT-related.
    • Introduced tech into the Courtesy Team allowing us to create all parking passes in house.
    • Makes IT-related suggestions to upper management and Board of Directors that can improve quality of life/management for RI/RII and Island Club as a whole.
  • Web & Social Media Administrator (Sep. 2011 – Current)
    • Built the 2011 version of the Island Club official whole-ownership & property management website and gave it face lifts in 2016 and 2022 to keep it fresh and functioning with new technology (mobile/tablet devices).
    • Created and introduced the Owners Portal on the website to allow whole-ownership to access regularly used documents and other information without having to call/email requests.
    • Took control of our business listings on behalf of upper management.
    • Utilized Facebook as a communication tool between management/staff and our owners/guests, especially during hurricane season(s).
    • Provide regular communication during storms to the whole-ownership & guests via our website, social media and community email blast service.
    • Assist office with handling community email blasts along with Assistant General Manager.
